About the name
It's a loving nod to TV's favorite competitive, bossy neat-freak: Monica Geller.
But we're not talking to the Monica with six categories of towels and a color-coded apartment. We're talking to the older, wiser Monica — the one who moved to the suburbs, had kids, and has a life that's fuller than her old system can hold. The one who still feels the pull to be perfect and is choosing peace, values, and grace instead.
There's a little of her in all of us. Hey, Monica.
Why this exists
We met at a women's networking conference in the Twin Cities — except we didn't actually meet. Amber sat in a session where someone described Tia's organizing work and thought, that sounds exactly like the people I work with. She tracked Tia down at the end of the day, swapped business cards, and suggested lunch.
Lunch was scheduled for an hour. It ran two and a half. Amber spent the entire drive coaching herself not to ask a near-stranger to start a podcast with her, held out for about forty minutes, then asked anyway. Tia said yes before she finished the sentence. We describe ourselves as the couple who got engaged on the first date.
What we kept hearing was the same thing from both sides of the table. Tia's clients had brilliant systems at work and nothing left for home. Amber's clients were exhausted by years of food rules that never delivered what they promised. Nobody needed another planner, another plan, or another set of bins. They needed permission.
We are not after perfection. We are after progress, with room for the imperfect parts.
Who it's for
The appointments, the snacks, the permission slips, the birthday gift for a kid you have never met. You are tired of being the only one who remembers.
New planner, new bins, new plan. It works for nine days. This is a show about what happens on day ten.
You want to eat without earning it, tracking it, or apologizing for it.
What to expect
No filler, no guru energy, no three-hour tangents.
Every episode opens here. We each name something we let slide — the Easter baskets that sat on top of the fridge until June, the dinner dishes that wait until morning.
We close by naming one thing genuinely working in our lives right now. Practical to ridiculous. No promises it will still be working next month.
Monica Geller is the reason this show has a name, so she turns up. Not in every episode, but as a running thread from one season to the next: who she was, who she'd be now, and what that has to do with your actual Tuesday.
What we believe
Who's talking

Professional home organizer
Founder of Room for Serenity.
She builds systems that survive a real Tuesday — then admits which of hers fell apart this week.
Tia helps busy professionals with kids who have amazing systems at work but no energy left to build organized systems at home. She works alongside clients rather than for them: sorting what stays, mapping where things live, and building systems that hold up on an ordinary Tuesday. At home it's two kids, two dogs, and a husband, and she has made peace with reorganizing one room at a time — it's a marathon, not a sprint, even for the person who does this professionally.

Weight-inclusive licensed nutritionist
Founder of Whole You Nutrition and the Meal Planning Collective.
She helps you keep the dinner and ditch the food rules. No plans, no shame, no before-and-after.
Amber supports people exhausted by dieting who want a better relationship with food and their bodies. She also runs a virtual community and coworking space for planning meals that are realistic, satisfying, and actually taste good. She has read a book before bed every single night since November 2019, which is the only streak she is willing to defend.
Behind the scenes
We are both in the Twin Cities and we record remotely. Amber handles the recording setup and editing. Tia handles the website, the design, and the social. There is usually a dog somewhere, laundry that isn't folded, and at least one thing in the background neither of us has dealt with yet.
